Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
SafeMind Technologies, the company that operates SafeSchool, is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data transparently. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your data when you visit safeschool.sa, contact us, or sign up to our programmes through the site and ad forms.
- We never sell your personal data
- Platform and app hosted in the Kingdom
- We keep contact data for 12 months at most
1Controller and scope
The controller of the data covered by this policy is SafeMind Technologies, based in Al Yasmin, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, referred to as “SafeSchool” or “we”.
This policy covers data from site visitors and from representatives of schools and organisations who contact us or register interest in our services and programmes.
Student and parent data inside the operational platform is governed by the privacy notices and agreements for those services.
2Data we collect
Depending on the form or service used, we may collect:
- Your name, the name of your school or organisation, and your job title.
- Your email, contact number and city.
- The information you provide in enquiries, trial requests and meetings.
- Records of your communication with us and your messaging preferences.
- The technical data needed to run and protect the site, such as IP address, device type and browser.
- Site usage and ad interaction data, through measurement and analytics tools.
We collect data directly from you when you fill in forms or contact us. We may also receive data you submit through ad forms, such as LinkedIn’s, some fields of which may be pre-filled from your account on that platform.
3How we use data
We use data only as needed to:
- Reply to your enquiries and provide the information you request.
- Arrange demos, trials and meetings.
- Manage applications to the School Safety Innovation Programme.
- Follow up on opportunities to work with schools and organisations.
- Improve the site and services and measure campaign performance.
- Protect the site, prevent misuse and meet legal requirements.
We don’t use your data for a new purpose incompatible with the one it was collected for without an appropriate legal basis, and we notify you where required.
4Legal basis and providing data
We process your data on the basis of your consent where required, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform an agreement, or to meet a legal obligation.
We may also rely on legitimate interest where the law allows, after taking your rights and interests into account.
Providing data is optional, but fields marked as required are needed to process your request. We may not be able to contact you or provide the service you ask for without them.
Browsing the site alone does not count as consent to receive marketing messages.
5Communication and marketing messages
We use the contact details you provide to reply to your request, follow up on it and arrange related meetings.
We send additional marketing messages only after obtaining the consent required by law. You can unsubscribe or withdraw your consent at any time through the opt-out provided or by writing to us at admin@safeschool.sa.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.
6Sharing data
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Authorised people within SafeSchool who need it to process your request.
- Service providers needed for hosting, communication, request management and analytics, within the scope of the service and under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- Competent authorities where disclosure is required by law.
LinkedIn and other external platforms also process data within their own services under their own privacy policies.
7Cookies and measurement tools
We use the cookies needed to run the site.
We also use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to measure site visits and improve the site. These tools collect general technical usage data, such as pages visited, device type and browser. We do not use them to identify you, and they are processed under their providers’ policies, which may be outside the Kingdom.
You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect some site features.
8Hosting and data transfer
The SafeSchool platform and app are hosted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in line with the Personal Data Protection Law.
Some services linked to the site, communication or ad platforms may require processing data outside the Kingdom. In these cases we follow the legal requirements for data transfer, apply the necessary safeguards and make the required disclosures about the processing.
9Data retention and destruction
We keep interest and contact request data for no more than 12 months from the last contact, unless the relationship becomes a contract or a legal obligation requires a longer period.
Contract-related data is kept for the periods needed to perform the contract and meet legal obligations.
When the purpose and retention period end, we delete the data securely or remove the information that identifies people. Backups are deleted according to the approved deletion cycle, with their use restricted in the meantime.
10Data protection
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data from unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure.
We limit access to data to authorised people on a need-to-know basis, and review our safeguards in line with the nature of the data and the risks of processing it.
11Your data rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law and related regulations, you have the right to:
- Know the legal basis for collecting your data and the purpose of processing it.
- Access your data and request a copy of it.
- Request that your data be corrected, completed or updated.
- Request that your data be destroyed when it is no longer needed, subject to legal exceptions.
- Withdraw your consent where processing is based on it.
To exercise your rights, contact us at admin@safeschool.sa. We may ask for appropriate information to verify your identity and protect your data before acting on the request, and we will handle it within the legal timeframes.
You can send us a complaint at the same address, and you can also contact the Kingdom’s competent personal data protection authority through its official channels.
12Children’s and students’ data
Contact and interest forms are intended for adults and representatives of schools and organisations.
Please don’t send students’ data, photos or health information through these forms. Data needed for operational services is processed through dedicated channels, under the relevant agreements and privacy notices.
13External links
The site may contain links to external sites or platforms. Their processing of your data is governed by their own policies, and we recommend reviewing them when you use their services.
14Policy updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, data processing practices or legal requirements.
We show the last-updated date at the top of the page, give appropriate notice of material changes, and ask for new consent where required.
